Let's put a number on it

A few questions about what you need. You see a price range as you go, and get a copy by email. It is an estimate, not a quote — the real number comes after we have talked.

What do you need?

Choose everything that applies. The questions after this one follow what you pick.

How to choose

Pick every kind of work involved, even if one feels small. Each choice adds its own question next, so the estimate ends up covering the whole job rather than just the obvious part.

A new online shop usually means Web development for the shop itself, Design if you have no brand yet, and Digital marketing if you want it found on day one.
What kind of site?

Pick the one that fits best.

How to choose

The biggest thing that moves the price is how many DIFFERENT page layouts there are, and whether your team needs to edit the site themselves. Twenty product pages built from one template count as one layout.

Five pages you never change yourself is a small site. The same five pages that your team updates every week is a full site — it needs an editor behind it.
What design work is needed?

Choose any that apply, or skip this if your brand and designs already exist.

How to choose

Skip this if you already have a logo and a look you are happy with — we will build on what exists. Choose it when there is nothing yet, or when what there is no longer fits the business.

A new café needs a logo and a brand. A company with a solid brand but an awkward website only needs UI / UX design.
What should be automated?

Choose any that apply.

How to choose

Think of anything someone in your team does by copying from one screen to another, or remembers to do every week. That is usually the thing to automate first — it costs little and pays back fastest.

Someone copies every enquiry from email into a spreadsheet and then into the CRM. That is "Leads and follow-up".
What kind of AI work?

Choose any that apply.

How to choose

The big divide is whether the AI answers from general knowledge or from YOUR documents. Answers from your own material are more useful and take more work, because the documents have to be prepared first.

A bot that answers "what are your opening hours" is an assistant. A bot that answers staff questions from 300 pages of internal policy is "Answers from our own documents".
Which marketing?

Choose either or both.

How to choose

SEO is groundwork that brings visitors for free over time, but takes months to show. Google Ads brings visitors from the first day, but you pay for every click — and the ad budget goes to Google on top of our fee.

A new business that needs enquiries this month starts with Google Ads, and does SEO alongside so it can spend less on ads later.
How involved is it?

This narrows the range. There is no wrong answer — we confirm it together on the call.

How to choose

Every kind of work has a range, because two jobs with the same name can be very different. Tell us roughly where yours sits and the estimate narrows to match. If you are unsure, leave it on Typical.

A landing page with your text and photos ready is Straightforward. The same page with an animation, a booking form and copy still to be written is Complex.
Do you need hosting?

These are our published hosting prices, so they are exact rather than a range.

How to choose

Hosting is where your site lives once it is built. Unmanaged means we give you the space and you look after it. Managed means we keep it updated, backed up and fixed when something goes wrong.

A business with nobody technical in-house almost always wants Managed — the site stays up and someone answers when it does not.
When do you need it?

This changes how we staff it, not only when we start.

Where do we send it?
