Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data AQAI (“we”, “us”) collects through this website, what we do with it, and the choices you have. It describes what the site actually does today.
What we collect
When you send us a message. The contact form asks for your name, email, phone number, the service you are interested in, a budget range and your message. We use it to reply to you and, if you want to work with us, to prepare a proposal. To stop automated spam, your IP address is also held for about twenty minutes to limit repeated submissions.
When you request a plan. The Hosting and SEO pages ask for your name and email and record which plan you chose, so we can send you a payment link.
When you refer a business. The referral form asks for your details and the details of the business you are introducing. We use them to contact that business and to pay you the referral fee if it becomes a project. Please only refer someone who expects to hear from us.
When you browse. If you accept analytics in the cookie banner, Google Analytics records which pages you visit, roughly where you are and what kind of device you use. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits without cookies and without following you across sites. See the Cookie Policy for the details.
We do not ask for, and ask you not to send, sensitive information such as health or payment card details through these forms.
Why we use it
- To answer your inquiry and take steps you have asked for before a contract.
- To run a project or plan you have agreed to.
- To keep the site secure and free of spam — our legitimate interest.
- To understand how the site is used, only with your consent.
We do not sell your personal data, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not use it to make automated decisions about you.
Who processes it for us
We use a small number of service providers, each only for the job described:
- Cloudflare — hosts this website and stores form submissions.
- Brevo — sends the emails that tell us about your message and our replies.
- Google — Google Analytics, only if you accept it.
These providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States and the European Union, under their own data protection terms.
How long we keep it
Form submissions are deleted automatically 12 months after they arrive, unless they become a project — in which case we keep what the project needs for as long as the law requires us to keep business records. Analytics data is kept under Google’s own retention settings.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct it if it is wrong;
- delete it;
- stop using it, or use it only in limited ways;
- withdraw your consent to analytics at any time with Manage cookies in the footer.
Write to hello@aqai.dev and we will answer within 30 days. If you are in the EU or the UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority. If you are in California, you have the rights above under the CCPA, and we do not sell or share personal information as that law defines it.
Children
This site is for businesses. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Changes
If what the site does changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top moves.
